What is a Virtual Onsite & How Does It Work?
Virtual onsite in the moving industry is the video call where the client does walkthrough the house or facility by showing items that needs to be moved.
Virtual onsite meeting can be held by using one of these methods: Zoom, Google Meetings, WhatsApp, or Facetime.
Firstly, client and onsite estimator joins the meeting at the agreed time.
Secondly, client walks around the house and shows items that would be going.
Thirdly, at the end of the meeting onsite estimator will ask several questions in regards to client’s move and will answer any questions that client may have.
The onsite estimator within 24 hours will get back to you with the price estimate for your move.
What is a Physical Site Visit & How Does It Work?
The site visit in the moving industry is the physical meeting that happens at the facility that is being moved.
Usually commercial moves that facility size is more than 4000 square feet qualify for the site visit. In some cases residential houses that has 6 or more bedrooms.
Firstly, client and onsite estimator meet on agreed date and time at the facility that is planned to be moved.
Secondly, client shows items that would be going at the day of the move.
Thirdly, at the end of the meeting onsite estimator will ask several questions in regards to client’s move and will answer any questions that client may have.
Depending on the size and complexity of the move the onsite estimator within 24-48 hours will get back to you with the price estimate for your move.
